Judge Mohamed Shahabuddeen: A Pictorial Biography’ Gifted to UG Library and the National Library of Guyana
The University of Guyana recently hosted the official handing-over ceremony for the book: Judge Mohamed Shahabuddeen: A Pictorial Biography by Mohamed Shahabudeen’s son Sieyf Shahabuddeen. The iconic publication will now add significantly to the body of literature that is available in Guyana and the region on the extraordinary life and career of celebrated Guyanese legal luminary Judge Mohamed Shahabuddeen.

An Evening of Reflection on The Sterling Life and Contribution of Sr. Mary Noel Menezes, R.S.M., O.R.” on Tuesday, 6th September 2022 from 7.00 p.m.
Seven staff members from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Offices of the Deputy Vice-Chancellors and the Office of Philanthropy, Alumni and Civic Engagement have successfully completed a Certificate in Grant Writing through the University of Georgia earlier this year.
The training commenced on March 16, 2022, and ended in May. It was managed through the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Institutional Advancement), Dr Melissa Ifill. The Grant Writing Course was funded by the United States Embassy in Georgetown, Guyana.
