Entry Requirements


Description
At least five (5) subjects at CSEC General Proficiency (Grades I, II, or III) or GCE "O" Levels (Grades A, B, or C). Subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and CSEC Information Technology. Students without CSEC Information (IT) or CSEC Electronic Document Preparation and Management (EDPM) will be admitted but MUST register for, and pass UGC1101- Computer Literacy 1.
A Diploma in Computer Science or Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science or Associate Degree in Information Technology.
A Trained Teacher Certificate (Secondary Mathematics Option).
Certificate in Industrial and Social Studies from Critchlow Labour College (CLC) together with a pass at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE).
Ordinary Diploma in Computer Science (ODCS) at the GTEE level.
Ordinary Diploma in Science (ODS); pass with Credit at the GTEE level.
Mature age (26 years and over), sound education background, together with a Pass at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE).
Any qualification considered by the University to be equivalent to any of the above.
