Entry Requirements

| Other relevant equivalent qualifications. |
| Applicants of mature age (i.e.. a minimum of 21 years in the calendar year in which entry is being sought) who do not meet any of the admission requirements but possess other qualifications will be required to write the University of Guyana Entrance examination UGEE). |
| A minimum of five (5) subjects at CSEC General Proficiency (Grades 1, 2, or 3) or five IGCSE/GCE 'O' levels (Grades A-C) and must include English Language and Portuguese. Applicants who do not possess Portuguese must have successfully complete an Introductory to Portuguese course (PRT 100). |
| Any qualification considered by the University to be equivalent to any of the above. |
