Entry Requirements

Description
Mature age (21 years & over) together with a pass at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE).
Any other qualification considered by the University to be equivalent to any of the above.
A Trained Teachers' Certificate from (CPCE) (a) 3 years Secondary - Major History/Social Studies. (b) 3 years programme - non History/Social Studies major but pass in History/Social Studies at CSEC/IGCSE/GCE 'O' level. (c) 2 years programme - Nursery or Primary with pass in History/Social Studies at CSEC/IGCSE/GCE 'O' level.
A minimum of 5 subjects at CSEC/IGCSE/GCE 'O' level and must include English Language and History/Social Studies.
