Entry Requirements


Description
Five Passes at CXC General Proficiency Examination (or Equivalent) with grades 1 to 111 (grade 111 as of 1998) which must include English Language and Mathematics, and at least one of the following science subjects: Integrated Science or Human and Social Biology, Chemistry or Physics and Mathematics.
Candidates must have Four subjects CXC General Proficiency Examination Grade 1 to 111 (or Equivalent) which must include English Language and Integrated Science, together with the two year Ordinary Diploma in Science (Credit Grade) from GTI.
Holders of Ministry of Health Environmental Health Assistants and two years post qualificat6ion experience. Plus four subjects CXC General Proficiency Examination Grade 1 to 111 (or Equivalent) which must include English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, Chemistry ore Physics.
Holders of UG Diploma in Environmental Health with two year post certificate experience plus four subjects CXC General Proficiency Examination Grade 1 to 111 (or Equivalent) which must include English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, Chemistry or Physics will be eligible for entry into the programme at 3rd year.
Holders of UG Associate of Science in Environmental Health with two year post certificate experience plus four subjects CXC General Proficiency Examination Grade 1 to 111 (or Equivalent) which must include English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, Chemistry or Physics will be eligible for entry into the programme at 4th year.
Matured Students over 26 years with five years' experience will be eligible once they satisfy the University's internal requirements (UGEE).
Any qualification equivalent to any of the above.
