| Passes in a minimum of five subjects CSEC/IGCSE/GCE 'O' levels, Grades I to III / Grades A to C, inclusive of English Language and Mathematics |
| Minimum of three years’ experience as in Law Enforcement/Court Administration/Social Services in addition to a pass in the 031 Proficiency in English and 031 Proficiency in Mathematics Courses. |
| Matured persons who are twenty-six years and over who have received a pass at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE). |
| Any other qualification considered acceptable by the University of Guyana |
