(Georgetown/Guyana/Sept 4/ 2020) The University of Guyana’s Registration period for the 2020/2021 Academic Year commenced Online on August 31, 2020 to September 30, 2020 for New and Continuing Students.

In keeping with national CoVid19 guidelines and in support of the health and safety of staff as well as new and continuing students,  the University will remain working in safe mode online until the situation changes for the better.

The University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE) will be conducted (online) for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The Examination is scheduled to be held from September 14, 2020 to September 18, 2020. Tutorials for subject areas will be offered (online) from August 31, 2020 to September 4, 2020 for applicants to both campuses (Turkeyen & Tain), irrespective of their geographical location. This examination targets applicants who do not have the general UG admission requirements for entry to the University of Guyana.

WWF makes significant book donation to the University of Guyana

The University of Guyana (UG) and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in recognising the importance of the ad- vancement of education on environmental ethics and social justice in Guyana, partnered on an initiative which saw the addition of thirteen titles, amounting to a donation of thirty-nine books in total to the university’s li- brary.
