Summary

The Executive Assistant in the School of Graduate Studies and Research provides high-level, confidential, administrative, and operational support to the Dean. He/She serves as the primary liaison between the Dean's office, the University’s service units, graduate faculty, and post-graduate students.

 

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Management or in any closely related field
    *Prior relevant experience will be treated as an asset

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledgeable of Graduate Academic Policies
  • Proficient in the use of modern educational technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tactful coordinating and reporting skills
  • Confidential, ethical and empathetic in the handling of student data/matters

 

Salary

Salary Scale: UA1: $304,602 - $467,527
Placement on Salary Scale would be dependent on level of qualification and relevant experience.
