Summary

The Assistant Sports Organiser offers high level support to the Sports Organiser in the design and smooth implementation of programmes in an effort to increase participation in sports and through sports, the fitness of the University’s students and staff.

 

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience

Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management (with specialization in any of these areas: coaching, therapy, coaching, facilities management, fitness, nutrition & diet), Exercise Science, and/or Sports Medicine, plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sports management/administration.

OR

A Bachelor’s degree in Public Management, Community Youth Development, Education – Physical Education, plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sports management/administration.

Salary

Salary Scale: UA1: $304,602 - $467,527

Benefits currently include travelling allowance, contributory medical and pension schemes; gratuity (where applicable), annual and vacation leave, leave passage and academic materials allowance.
