UG Mourns Loss of Joel Skeete; Care Team Deployed and Ready to Provide Support Needed to Family and Friends

The University has received the sad news today that the hopeful search that was being carried out for 19-year-old Joel Skeete did not end with his safe return to his family and friends as we had hoped.

Our Care Team is deployed and ready to give whatever support is needed to the family and friends including those who taught him who are deeply disturbed and saddened.

The University community mourns his loss and hopes that the authorities will be able to provide answers so desperately sought by those who survive him.
