Shaquawn Gill’s journey to success is far from ordinary. He rose from being a teenager involved in school gangs to becoming a student leader at the University of Guyana. This young media practitioner will be among the more than three thousand graduands set to walk the graduation stage when the nation’s premier tertiary institution hosts its Convocation ceremonies in November.

The University of Guyana is obliged to clarify the current situation in response to the plethora of calls in regard to the recent and ongoing public high-level pronouncements in Guyana on the question of free tuition at the University of Guyana.

Please be advised that the General Reading Room will be re-opened w.e.f. Wednesday, October 2, 2024 until further notice as follows:

Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 18:00h (6:00 p.m.)
