The University's operation bases during the asbestos removal period will be:
- The Dennis Irvine dormitory at Goedverwagting for administrative operations
- Tutorial High School, Guyana School of Agriculture, Cummings Lodge Secondary, the Government Technical Institute and the Georgetown Public Hospital for summer courses
- University House, Pere Street for Library automation
