Students who fail a course(s) more than once will be registered to do only the failed course(s). Students may not normally be allowed to spend more than two (2) years in any one year of the programme. Where, as a result of annual review, the Faculty deems a student’s performance unsuitable for the programme, the student may be asked to withdraw from the programme. Exceptions should be approved by Faculty Board. SUPPLEMENTAL EXAMINATIONS Supplemental Examinations or other relevant forms of assessment will be permitted only for students in the Final Year of their programme, who have no more than two fail grades in the Final Year of their programme. Students who are unsuccessful at the supplemental examinations may be asked to repeat the failed courses in the following semester in which they are next offered. Summer courses should not have Supplemental Examinations. Students who are absent from more than 25% of classes including off-campus training exercises, and who have received warnings from the Office of the Dean about such absence may not be permitted to write the Final Examinations.
