The Faculty is developing its research activities, which are aimed at informing agricultural activities in Guyana.  Indeed, the Faculty aims to lead the way in innovative and relevant technologies, to aid in the country’s developmental thrust and its drive for self-sufficiency in food.  These efforts will be aided by the recent acquisition of land now being developed to boost its teaching and research.

            The Faculty plans to expand its programme content through the offering of an option in Agricultural Business as well as higher degrees.
