COURSE ASSESSMENT

 

The final grades students obtain in courses will be determined by both the course work marks and the final examination marks, except for courses which are evaluated by continuous assessment.

Students doing courses offered by the Faculty may initiate the review of their course work marks.

Applications for review of course work marks setting out reasons for the request and the name of a nominee from among the Academic community (optional) shall be made in writing to the Assistant Dean no later than two weeks after the date marks for the particular segment of the course work have been released.

Other regulations governing Assessment are in accordance with the General University Regulations under semesterisation.

AWARD OF CERTIFICATE

 

The B.Sc. (Agriculture or Forestry) degree or the Diploma (Forestry) will be awarded to candidates who fulfill all the General University and Faculty Regulations applicable and who complete the requisite courses and number of credits.        
A student  may be allowed a maximum of eight (8) years to graduate with the B.Sc. degree and four (4) years with the Diploma. A student must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in order to graduate.
