LENDING SERVICES (MEMBERS ONLY)
Books: Three-week, one-week, 48 hours, and overnight loan.
Only registered students and academic staff may borrow books on 48-hour loan.
RESERVATIONS AND RENEWALS
Lending material not available in the Library when needed may be reserved by request at the Circulation Desk.
Three week loans can be renewed by telephone no.: 222-4931.
OVERDUE BOOKS AND FINES
Lateness in returning Library books will result in fines and other sanctions, as follows :
Ordinary (3 week) loan $20.00 per day
One-week loan $20.00 per day
Reserve Collection (48 hours loan) $200.00 per day
Fines for each day include Sundays and Holidays.
SUSPENSION
Ordinary loan more than 2 weeks overdue - 2 weeks’ suspension
One-week loan more than 1 eek overdue - 2 weeks’ suspension
48 hour loan more than 1 day - 2 weeks’ suspension
Overnight loan more than 2 hours overdue - 2 weeks’ suspension
Two hour loan more than two hours overdue - 2 weeks’ suspension
Theft and mutilation of library property are punishable by suspension from the University. Legal proceeding will also be considered.
