The University of Guyana is inviting eligible persons who are desirous of attending the University to register to write the Entrance Examination.
Who can write the examination?
- Persons who are twenty-six (26) years old who do not have the required number of CSEC/GCE subjects at the required number of sittings i.e. passes in five (5) subjects at one sitting or six (6) subjects at two sittings, grades 1 – 3 or A – C, including English Language and Mathematics, but have work experience in the required field of study.
- Persons who are under twenty-six (26) years of age and have the required number of passes but at more than the specified number of sittings.
- Persons with certificates and diplomas from the Burrowes School of Art, Critchlow Labour College and Registered Nurses who do not have CSEC/GCE pass in Mathematics and English Language.
Note: A pass at this examination will be valid for entry into the University of Guyana for a period of two years.
